How to enable new Reset this PC wizard design on Windows 11

Here are the steps to try an early preview of the visual refresh for Reset this PC on Windows 11.

Windows 11 new Reset This PC UI

On Windows 11 22H2, you can now enable an early preview of the updated visuals for the “Reset this PC” feature.

The Reset this PC feature continues to offer a way to wipe out the hard drive and reinstall Windows 11, keeping or removing your personal files, but the wizard is now getting updated to match the design language available throughout the operating system with mica material and support for the light and dark color modes.

If you want to start using the new design for the recovery feature before it’s officially available, you can use a third-party tool known as “ViVeTool” created by Rafael Rivera and Lucas on GitHub to enable the new experience on build 25231 and higher releases of Windows 11.

This guide will teach you the steps to enable the new Reset this PC dialog visuals on Windows 11.
